Tony Juliano is on a roll – announced this July as JLL Philadelphia’s new Chief Operating Officer, he has already been recognized with a Rising Star Award at the Philadelphia Business Journal CFOs of the Year Awards!
Though touted by PBJ as the “unsung heroes of the C-suite”, we’re excited to see incredible executives like Tony getting their due.
This year, the awards – which honor CFOs and their equivalents – saw a record number of nominations. The selective criteria assessed financial accomplishments, tenure, scope of responsibilities, leadership, respect and influence within the company, community involvement and stewardship of the company’s business model.
“Tony has shown tremendous commitment, vision and leadership in his responsibilities and continues to do so at a relentless pace,” said his nominator. “Tony Juliano is a true asset and clearly a rising star at JLL.”
Tony Juliano joined JLL in 2010 after spending three years as a Financial Analyst with Liberty Property Trust. Coming on board as a Senior Analyst in JLL’s Corporate Solutions group, Juliano quickly excelled. In 2014, he joined the Philadelphia Market as Finance Manager and soon progressed to the position of Senior Manager, Finance and Operations. Tony was named Senior Vice President of Operations in March of 2017 before ascending to Chief Operating Officer this month.
When asked what was the most significant change in his role, Juliano says his new management responsibilities have been an exciting challenge. “I’ve been learning new elements of the business, new service lines,” he says. “Really learning the core of the day-to-day on those businesses so I can provide the best financial oversight possible.”
