The past few months, we’ve been on a mission to introduce you our colleagues behind JLL Philadelphia. We pride ourselves on the meaningful relationships we build with our clients and partners, so we appreciate you following along and getting to know us!
Phil Schenkel: Executive Vice President
After 31 years in the business, CRE is still a thrill to Phil. (Say that five times fast.) Despite being involved in nearly 1,000 separate lease and sale transactions – totaling approximately $1 billion in transaction value – he always wakes up grateful for a job that presents him with new challenges and opportunities every day.
He lives for the moment at a ribbon-cutting when he sees the look in a tenant’s eye and knows it’s exactly what they had envisioned.
At the end of the day when the excitement has ebbed, Phil likes to kick back and relax, whether he’s golfing, traveling, or spending a quiet night at home with his wife.
Blaise likes to think of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” as the theme song to his career, but it’s more than faith that got him where he is today. With talent, loyalty, and determination he’s earned plenty of acknowledgment, including being recognized as one of JLL’s Top Producers. As ambitious as his idol Mark Cuban, and as resourceful as MacGyver, we know that Blaise will continue to go far.
He’s just as energetic outside the office whether he’s playing lacrosse for kicks or showing off his hidden hula hoop talent.
Early in Jennifer’s career, she was told that “the magic happens outside of your comfort zone.”
She never forgot that advice, and it’s driven her to be bold and curious throughout her career. Let it be known, those risks have paid off. As a “road warrior,” Jennifer was once part of a due diligence team that acquired 90 buildings totaling 16.5M s.f. in seven markets for $2.6 billion -all in a three year period.
Outside of the office, Jennifer appreciates the simple things. She loves a drive with the windows down and music cranked loud, a bold cup of espresso from her Nespresso Vertuoline, and (fingers crossed) a Flyers win.
We considered not telling you that David is a Red Sox fan, but we thought you should know what kind of person he is. By that, we mean a true team player who is as dedicated to his family, clients, and JLL colleagues as anyone we know.
Loyal to a T, he’s been playing in the CRE field for 21 years and we’re truly lucky to call him a part of our team.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know us, and look out for “part four” of our employees series next month!
